- De rooms-katholieke kathedraal van Philadelphia is in 1864 gewijd. Het gebouw werd ontworpen in classisistische stijl door Napoleon LeBrun met een facade naar ontwerp van John Notman. In 1868 voltooide John Stanbridge het eerste orgel van de kerk. In 1920 werd het orgel vervangen door een groot nieuw instrument, opus 939 van de Austin Organ Company. Van Stanbridge werd alleen de Subbass 16' overgenomen. Er werd een fraaie orgelkas gebouwd, ontworpen door Otto Eggers.
- De Tellers Organ Company voerde in 1957 een renovatie uit. Daarbij is een nieuwe speeltafel geplaatst. In de jaren 1975-1977 is het orgel door Brantley A. Duddy gerestaureerd. In 1977 plaatsten zij een originele speeltafel van Austin, afkomstig van het orgel uit 1922 (opus 1010) van het Rochester Theatre.
- Tenslotte is in 1987 een uitbreiding gerealiseerd door C.W. Gibson met een Trumpet-en-Chamade en een Chancel Organ. Dit Chancel Organ was een orgel van de Möller Company uit 1950.
