Franz Hötzel installed a new organ in the church of Tauplitz in 1858. It replaced a small positive with four stops, that was installed second hand in 1830, and came from Pürgg. The new organ has eight stops. The pedal has no 16'-ranks, but two bass-ranks of 8' and 5 1/3', to create an acoustic 16'-feet bass. In 1956 the organ was restored by Franz Windtner.
