  • The organ in the chapel of the Domsepultur in Würzburg was originally built for the parish church of Sankt Peter und Paul in Oberpleichfeld in 1746 by Johann Philipp Seuffert. The instrument had nine stops. In 1935, it was relocated to a new church building. Two stops were added to the organ, Salicional 8' and Principal 8'.
  • In the seventies the organ was in a bad condition. It was decided to have a completely new instrument built by Norbert Krieger, that was dedicated in 1979. The Seuffert organ was removed from the church, and acquired by the Bischöflichen Ordinariat Würzburg. After a thorough restoration it could be installed in 1986 in de chapel of Domsepultur, belonging to the Domkirche.
