Built by: Pierre Charles (I) Van Peteghem (1828)
The organ in the church of Erwetegem was built in 1828 by Pierre Van Peteghem. It has been modified over time. Three registers are missing on the Great Organ, the positive has two empty drawers. The current keyboard is also not the original one. The manual compass is to g''', but the windchest go to f'''. The attached pedal also is a later addition. The changes were probably made by the Daem company at the beginning of the twentieth century. The registers they added (Montre 8' and Violin 8' on the Grand Organ, Voix Celeste 8' on the Positive) have since been removed. The composition of Cornet and Fourniture has also been altered. Paul Andriessen carried out a revision around 2010. Daem's registers have been removed.
