The organ in the village church of Altgarbsen was built in 1664 by Friederich Behme from Braunschweig for the Marktkirche in Hanover. In 1687 it was sold to the monastery church of Marienwerder. In 1705 it was then donated to the Garbsen municipality. In 1844 it was transferred to the new village church of Altgarbsen. The company Gebr. Hillebrand (Altwarmbüchen) restored the organ in 2001.
