1897 J.W. Walker & Sons  new organ
1954 John Compton Organ Company  restoration
1966 Alfred E. Davies & Son  restoration

  • In 1897 the firm of Walker & Sons built an organ for All Saints' Church in Wokingham. The organ had three manuals and pedal. The Compton company carried out a revision in February 1954. They added a tremulant, converted Swell's Oboe 8' to a Contra Oboe 16' and installed sub and super octave couplers for Swell. The old swell lever was replaced by a balanced swell pedal. Finally, the combination pedals were replaced by thumb and toe pistons.
  • Not long after the overhaul, a new hot air heating installation was installed in the church. The organ suffered greatly from this, and a restoration was carried out in 1966 by J.E. Davies & Son. The disposition and structure of the organ were altered. The Choir Organ was removed and a new free-standing console was installed in the Lady Chapel.
  • In 2002 the organ was replaced by an electronic organ, after which the interior was sold. Only the organ with the front pipes is still in the church.
