The Swedish Church in Tallinn was decommissioned as a church after World War II and converted into a sports hall. After Estonia's independence, the building was restored. The organ from before 1945 had been demolished. A second-hand organ was donated from Sweden in 2000, built in 1968 by the firm Åkerman & Lund. The instrument was taken over from Täby Kyrka near Stockholm. It was built here in an organ case by Jonas Ekengren from 1792. Adviser was Gotthard Arnér. In 1994 the organ was replaced by a new instrument. The disposition was adjusted during the transfer to Tallinn. The instrument was later expanded with a Trompete 8' on the Huvudverk by the company Kriisa.
