The church in Lichtervelde is a neo-Gothic building from the years 1876-1879. In 1918 the tower was blown up, causing the organ to be lost and the church to be partly destroyed. The rebuilt church was consecrated in 1923. The Anneessens company built an organ for the church in 1923. It has been preserved without any modifications.
