  • In 1805, Jan Smets placed an organ in the Sint Margrietkerk in Baardegem, which was acquired from the defunct convent of the Sisters Conceptionists in Enghien, called Klooster Nazareth. The maker is unknown, but the organ dates from the second half of the eighteenth century. In 1827 a revision has been carried out by Jan Etienne Smets.
  • In the first half of the twentieth century, the organ was radically rebuilt, first by the Reygaert company in 1902, then by Leon Daem in 1923, 1925 and 1938. In 1968 the organ was dismantled by the Loncke company and put into storage. It has never been relocated. Remains are still in the attic of the old presbytery.
