Op 14 november 1954 werden in de Sint Bavokerk te Zittaart de klokken en het nieuwe orgel gewijd. Het orgel is gebouwd door Gerard D'Hondt. Het inwijdingsconcert werd verzorgd door Frans Vetters, organist van de Sint Aleydiskerk te Brussel.
