1998 Schmidt & Mappes  new organ
2016 Mark Nagels  transfer/relocate

  • In 1998 the Schmidt & Mappus company built an organ for the Gerhard-Uhlhorn-Kirche, Salzmannstraße 5 in Hanover, in the Linden-Nord district. This church was built in 1963 to a design by Reinhard Riemerschmid. In 2009 the congregation was merged with the Bethlehemkirche. After a last church service at Easter 2012, the building was completely decommissioned on 18 November 2012. The organ was then sold to the Sint Lambertus parish in Kiewit near Hasselt.
  • The organ was transferred in 2015-2016 by Mark Nagels. In addition, the voicing has been revised to make the organ sound more mellow. The organ was dedicated on February 28, 2016, after which Nico Declerck and Johan Hermans performed the inaugural concert.
