The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1755 by Pieter de Ryckere
In 1887, the Schyven company built an organ for the chapel of the hospital in Kortrijk. The organ case was taken over from the previous organ, which was built in the years 1752-1755 by Pieter De Ryckere. The instrument was dedicated on December 20, 1887. In 1995 the company Loncke carried out a restoration.
