The organ in the chapel of the Center d'Accueil Diocésain in Coutances is an instrument of the type 'Polyphone' by Louis Debièrre, built in 1898. It is compactly built and has no pedal. It was built for the chapel of the Institut Saint-Michel in Château-Gontier. In 1904 it was reloacted by Debièrre in the cathedral of Coutances. Here it served as a choir organ until 1986, after which it was placed at its current location. Jean-Pierre Conan carried out a restoration in 1997.
