The Schenkenberg Church is a building from 1685. On September 22, 1898, a fire broke out in the church, after which the interior was renewed. There was an organ in the church of Carl August Buchholz, built around 1845. This was lost in the fire. This instrument was installed in the church only a year before by Barnim Grüneberg. It came from Schmölln, and was built by Buchholz with parts of the former Röder organ of the Marienkirche in Prenzlau.
