In the Cantoria di Donatello of the Basilica di San Lorenzo in Firenze stands an old organ, which was built in 1502 by Benedetto Vantaggini. It was enlarged in 1773 by the Tronci brothers. Pietro Paoli restored the organ in 1896. He replaced the short octave by a complete one, and replaced the manual and pedal keyboards. Riccardo Lorenzini reconstructed the old work in the years 1993-1994 to the state of 1773.
