The choir organ of the cathedral in Poitiers was built in 1846 by Pierre-Alexandre Ducroquet. In 1883 it was rebuilt by Joseph Merklin. A restoration was carried out in 1957 by the Roethinger company in collaboration with Robert Boisseau. The organ has been extended with a second manual, and the traction is electric since. The organ has no organ case, but it is incorporated in the choir stalls.
