- Saint Andrew's Church in Dublin is gebouwd in de jaren 1832-1843. De kerk is gebouwd in classicistische stijl. Het orgel werd in de jaren 1869-1871 gebouwd door John White. Het pijpwerk betrok White grotendeels van de firma Cavaillé-Coll, waarmee het orgel het enige in Ierland is met pijpwerk van deze bouwer. Er zijn ongeveer 600 pijpen van Cavaillé-Coll in het instrument bewaard gebleven. Op 23 maart 1871 is het ingewijd, ter gelegenheid waarvan William Thomas Best was uitgenodigd het orgel te bespelen.
- In de loop van de tijd is het orgel gewijzigd, onder andere bij een restauratie door Rushworth & Dreaper in 1976. Er zijn plannen voor een reconstructie naar de oorspronkelijke staat.
