The organ in Notre-Dame in Pontivy was built in 1836-1837 by Aristide and Dominique Cavaillé-Coll. The Récit is still classical in design, with a treble keyboard, starting at f°. In 1878, Louis Debièrre altered the instrument. The Koenig company modified the disposition in 1946. This was followed in 1960 by a renovation by the company Gobin-Rothinger and a restoration in 1985 by Jean Renaud.
