- Het orgel in de voormalige Klosterkirche in Ichtershausen werd gebouwd in 1833 door Friedrich Knauf in een orgelkas uit 1723, afkomstig van het orgel dat Johann Christoph Thielemann in dat jaar voor de kerk bouwde. In 1960 is het orgel door Rudolf Böhm gerestaureerd.
- Het orgel wordt vanaf 2007 gereconstrueerd, waarbij de toestand van 1723 het uitgangspunt is.
