  • The old church of Lapoutroie was lost in 1750 by a great fire in the town. After the construction of a new church, an organ was placed in 1792 by Franz Joseph Beyer from 1727, coming from a Franciscan monastery in Rouffach. This organ was replaced by a new instrument in 1851, built by Joseph Callinet. The current church was built in 1912-1913. The organ was replaced by a new instrument, built by Martin and Joseph Rinckenbach, but retaining Callinet's case. Some of Callinet's pipework has also been taken over.
  • In 1954 the organ was renovated by the Schwenkedel company. The pneumatic action was electrified by them and a Cornet was added. Daniel Kern carried out a restoration in 1990. On November 17, 1990, the organ could be put back into use.
