The organ case of the organ in the church of Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul in Rueil-Malmaison dates from 1680. This case was donated to the church in 1862 by Napoléon III. The organ case comes from the Chiesa di Santa Maria Novella in Florence, and was made by Baccio d'Angnolo. Aristide Cavaillé-Coll was commissioned to build an organ in this greenhouse. The instrument was consecrated on April 10, 1864 in the presence of the Emperor.
