The organ in the Église Notre-Dame de l'Assomption in Chênex was built by Daublaine-Callinet in 1842, for the Cathédrale of Algers, and later the instrument was relocated to the Église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires in Alger. In 1962, the instrument was transferred to the chapel of the Grand-Séminaire in Kouba, close to Alger, by Alain Sals. It was relocated to Chênex by Alain Sals in 1984.
