In 1889, Louis Debierre built a new organ for the Église Saint-André in Angoulême. An older facade was used. The organ was overhauled in 1913 by Debierre. In 1943, Robert Boisseau carried out a restoration. He increased the pedal compass and expanded the organ with a Soubasse. In 1980 the organ was restored by Alain Thomas and further expanded, with eleven new registers.
