  • René Cochu built an organ with fourteen stops for the Église Saint-Jean-du-Marché in Troyes in 1806. It was enlarged by him in 1824 with one manual to 28 stops. The organ had three manuals (Grand Orgue, Positif and Récit). In 1850 the seven stops of the Positif were removed (except for the prospect pipes) and sold by Pierre-Alexandre Ducroquet. Jules Bossier renovated the organ in 1923. He removed five stops from the organ and installed four new stops on the Récit. The organ has 20 stops since then. The pedal organ never had stops of its own.
  • In 1985 the mechanics and the case of the positif were restored by Laurent Plet. There are still plans to rebuilt the organ in the state of 1824, with a Soubasse 16' on the pedal organ.
