  • In 2006, Patrick J. Murphy completed a new organ for the First Presbyterian Church, 37 South 5th Street in Reading, Pennsylvania. It is a three-manual organ with 58 registers, including a number of transmissions. In 2016, it was decided to leave the church building, which was 202 years old at the time, and to find a new space outside the center of Reading. The church was subsequently sold or leased to an evangelical group, Lighthouse Christian Center. Because they do not use an organ during the celebrations, the instrument has been sold.
  • In 2022 Murphy & Associates started transferring the organ to Saint John's Episcopal Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. The instrument was installed in a new organ case. New pipework has been added, taken from a 1946 Möller organ (opus 7435) from the First Presbyterian Church in Reading, PA, expanded in 1965. It was inaugurated in November 2023.
