In de zomer van 1895 voltooide de firma Walcker een tweeklaviers orgel met 25 stemmen voor de Johanneskirche in Dortmund. Het instrument werd geplaatst in een eikenhouten orgelkas, ontworpen door prof. Vollmer uit Berlin. De Flöte 8' van het eerste klavier was een hogedrukregister, dat op een eigen windlade stond. Het kon naar keuze ook op het tweede manuaal worden gebruikt.
