1906 Alfred Hunter & Son  new organ
1936 Rushworth & Dreaper  restoration
2023 J.C. Bishop & Son  restoration

  • The organ in Windsor Parish Church was built in 1906 by Alfred Hunter & Son. It is a three-manual organ with 46 registers. In 1936 it was renovated and retonated by Rushworth & Dreaper. The action was tubular pneumatic. The remaining Hunter material (organ case and part of the pipework) was declared protected material in 2012 by the British Institute of Organ Studies.
  • A restoration was carried out in 2021 by the company Bishop & Son. They rebuilt the organ with electropneumatic action. The stop list has not modified. The Great reeds have also been made available on Choir, and playing aids have been added. The organ was put into use again on October 1, 2023 with a concert by Thomas Trotter. The official dedication of the renovated organ was on November 26, 2023.
