  • Grindsted Kirke's previous organ was placed in the church in 1923 by Frobenius. It replaced a 1900 harmonium. The organ was built by Frederik Nielsen in 1892 for Frederikshavn Kirke. It was inaugurated here at the same day as the new church building on October 23, 1892. A large organ for this church was built in 1920 by Frobenius, after which the Nielsen organ became available. A new prospect was designed for Grindsted Kirke by Harald Lønborg-Jensen.
  • At the time of transfer, the organ had fifteen stops on two manuals and pedal. In 1939 it was extended by a sixteenth register by Frobenius. During a revision in 1948 by Frobenius, the disposition was altered.
  • The organ was demolished in 1963 and replaced by a new instrument.
