- Het orgel van Saint James' Cathedral in Toronto is in eerste opzet gebouwd door Samuel Warren in 1863. Het instrument had twee manualen en pedaal. Het stond op de orgelgalerij aan de westzijde van de kerk. In 1888 plaatste Warren het over naar de koorzijde van de kerk.
- In 1936 bouwde Casavant het orgel om als opus 1530. In 1967 werd het door de firma Casavant gerestaureerd en gewijzigd. Lawrence Phelps breidde het orgel in 1976 uit met enkele stemmen. In 1979 plaatste de firma Walker & Sons een nieuwe speeltafel. Het orgel in in de jaren 1999-2000 door Andrew Mead gerestaureerd en opnieuw uitgebreid.
