Built by: Orgelbau Kuhn AG (2013)

  • In 2008 the interior of the St. Moritzkirche was renovated according to a design by John Pawson. Within the austere interior, a solution was sought for a choir organ that would fit in with the new concept. Uwe Schacht designed an organ case in collaboration with John Pawson for a new organ built by the Kuhn firm. The organ is located in an arch above the stalls on the south side of the choir, while the console is integrated within the stalls. Kuhn was inspired by French Romantic organs during construction.
  • On April 20, 2013 the organ was inaugurated with a concert by Willibald Guggenmos.
