  • In 1894 Wilhelm Ratzmann completed two new organs for Hanau, one for the Marienkirche and one for the Johanneskiche. The instruments were inspected in November 1894 by Mr. Löwe, Seminarlehrer in Schlüchtern, and by Mr. A. Brede, Musikdirektor in Kassel.
  • On March 19, 1945, both churches were destroyed by bombing. The organs were lost.
