The organ in the Spitalkirche in Innsbruck was originally built in 1846 by Johann Georg Gröber with eleven stops. In 1963 it was completely rebuilt by Johann Pirchner, using most of the exisiting pipework and the organ case. The organ since has thirteen stops. Pirchner moved the console from the front of the organ (free-standing) to the right side.
