In 1978-1979, the Walker & Sons company built a new organ for Saint Edward's Church in London-Romford. A part of the pipes were taken from the previous organ of the church. This instrument was located on the north side of the nave, near the choir. The new organ is installed on a gallery on the west side of the church. Four stops were only prepared for during the dedication. Those were installed by Walker in 1986.
