  • In 1845 a first organ was built in the parish church of Kettering by George M. Holdich. It was placed in a gallery on the west side of the church, above the entrance. It was dedicated on July 8, 1845. In 1870 the organ was moved by J. Porritt to the church floor on the north side of the choir.
  • In 1892 John Nicholson built an entirely new organ. The old instrument was sold to the parish of Olney. The new organ had pneumatic action with cone chests. The Walker & Sons company rebuilt the instrument in 1939 with electric action. The stop list was also slightly modified. Since 1975 the organ has been revised and modified several times by Kenneth J. Canter. In 1975 the Choir Organ was rebuilt with six new stops. In 1993 Canter expanded the organ again with three ranks. Finally, in 1994, he replaced Swell's Lieblich Bourdon 16' with a Contra Fagotto.
