  • The Erlöserkirche in Dresden was a church building designed by Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel in neo-Gothic style, which stood on the corner of Wittenberger Straße and Paul Gerhard Straße. The church was put into use on June 20, 1880. The church largely burned down during the bombing of Dresden, but was preserved after the war. Although the church was never roofed again, church services were held in the summer. However, the church was ultimately demolished in 1961/1962 by order of the government.
  • The church's first organ was built in 1880 by Eduard Schubert. It was a two-manual organ with 26 registers. It was completed a couple of months after the dedication of the church. In 1928 the instrument was replaced by a new organ by Hermann Eule with three manuals and 43 registers. This organ was lost in 1945.
