  • The organ in the Nicolaikirche in Hörden in the Harz was built around 1770. The maker is unknown. The instrument was restored by Johann Andreas Engelhardt in 1850 and expanded with an independent pedal. Carl Heyder placed a new windchest in 1883, and the disposition was modified. The prospect pipes were disconnected by him. Around 1900 a magazine bellows was installed.
  • The historic organ was restored in 1952 by Paul Ott, whereby the character was altered in a baroque-like style. Martin Haspelmath restored the work again in 1994. Consultant was Hans-Ulrich Funk. In this restoration, a connection was sought with the original instrument, while retaining the meaningful additions from later times. Elmar Krawinkel carried out major maintenance in 2011.
