  • In 1859-1860, Johann Nepomuk Carl Mauracher built an organ for the Mariä Himmelfahrtkirche in Dürrnberg. During construction he used the organ case of the organ that Karl Mauracher had built for the Domkirche in Salzburg in 1832, and the pipework of the former Heilig-Geist-Organ from the Dom in Salzburg. In Salzburg, Johann Mauracher built a new organ case in connection with a restoration of the church interior. The organ in Dürrnberg was dedicated on August 22, 1860.
  • The organ in Dürrnberg was restored and modified in 1969 by Hermann Oettl.
