2012 Mecklenburger Orgelbau  reconstruction

  • In 1887 Friedrich Friese built a new organ for the village church of Broock. It is a small instrument with five stops and an attached pedal. After the Second World War, a large part of the pipework disappeared. In 1972 Wolfgang Nußbücker carried out a restoration. New pipework has been installed, but with a different specification.
  • The Mecklenburger Orgelbau company carried out a reconstruction of Friese's original work in 2012. All the pipework was newly made according to Frisian examples, with the exception of a small number of Frisian pipes that were still present. Consultant was Friedrich Drese.
