- The organ in Carl Johans Kyrka or Skeppsholmskyrkan was originally built in 1873 by the firm of Åkerman & Lund as a two-manual organ with twelve stops and an attached pedal. The front was designed in French Baroque style by Ludwig Haverman. The church's previous organ, delivered in 1835 by Pehr Zacharias Strand, was sold to Tjureda Church, where the facade has been preserved.
- In 1930 the organ was radically rebuilt and expanded by the Setterquist company. New pneumatic Roosevelt chests were installed and the organ was expanded with an independent pedal. In 1942 the same company also made some modifications in the stop list: the Gamba 8' was replaced by a Gedackt 8', the Dolce 8' by a Kvinta 2 2/3' and the Violoncell 8' of the pedal by a Koralbas 4'. The disposition was also expanded with a Mixtur on the second manual and a Flöjtbas 2' on the pedal.
