2010 Mühleisen Orgelbau  new organ in old case

Under the advice of Volker Lutz, the Mühleisen company built a new organ for the Remigiuskirche in Altensteigdorf in 2010. During construction, the organ case and some of the pipework were taken over from the previous organ. This was built in 1860 by Carl Gottlob Weigle, but has been extensively modified over time. The new organ has two manuals and a pedal. Seven registers are on switchable slides, so they can be used either on manual I or manual II. The organ was inaugurated on September 25, 2010 with a concert by Stefan Skobowsky.
