The organ in the Protestant church of Wihr-en-Plaine was originally built in 1836 by Valentin Rinckenbach. In 1906 the organ was unplayable. It was decided to renew the interior. This was performed by Marin and Joseph Rinckenbach, and the new pneumatic organ was put into use in 1908. In 1981 Christian Guerrier built a completely new organ with mechanical slider chests in the 1836 case.
