  • In 1835 Charles Gadault built an organ for the Chapelle des Jésuites on the rue de Vaugirard in Paris. The organ case was adopted from the old organ of the Chapelle des Soeurs Hospitalières de Notre-Dame-de-la-Charité in Paris, built by Abbé Bénigne-Joly.
  • In 1861 the organ was transferred to the abbey church in Châtillon-sur-Seine. Lucien Simon carried out repair work in 1973. The organ was restored in 2010 by Laurent Plet.
