Built by: Joseph Merklin (1876)
Louis Callinet built an organ for Autun Cathedral in 1820. The organ was replaced in 1876 by the current instrument, built by the Merklin firm. During the construction, parts of the organ case and some of Callinet's registers were reused. In 1921 the organ was expanded by the Michel-Merklin & Kuhn company. Jean Perroux worked on the organ in the years 1956-1962, changing the pitch and adjusting the voicing. In 1983, the builders Jean Deloye and Jean-Pierre Swiderski carried out a restoration.
