In 1957 Austin Organ Company built a new organ for the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Cincinnati. The previous organ, also built by Austin in 1927, was sold to Mount Saint Mary Seminary in Norwood, where it remained in service for several decades. The new instrument was expanded in 1976 with one register and a transmission. In 1987 it was completely rebuilt with modern electric action by Schaedle Pipe Organ Services.
