The Christ Church in Mundenheim was built in the years 1901-1902 and was designed by the architect Franz Schöberl. In 1943 the church burned down as a result of acts of war. Rebuilding followed in 1953 and 1954. The Steinmeyer firm placed a new organ in the church in 1962.
