In the Protestant Kirche in Oppau there was an organ from the Baroque period, which was sold in 1921 to Ohmbach. The church was partially destroyed by an explosion that year. After World War II, the church was rebuilt. In 1952 Steinmeyer installed a temporary organ. After the completion of the church in 1954, the organ was expanded and completed by them. The organ was commissioned in 1957.
