On July 14, 1929, a new organ was dedicated in the church of Méteren. The instrument was built by the company Coupleux. The inauguration concert was played by Edmond Diérickx and Louis Smagghe. The organ had twelve stops, pneumatic action and cone chests. It was replaced in 1991 by a completely new instrument.
