- In the years 1926-1930, Paul Krischer built a new organ for the Église Saint-Vaast in Béthune. The organ was dedicated with a recital by Flor Peeters on May 18, 1930. The instrument was designed by dr. Bédart from Lille.
- The organ fell into disrepair over time, and has not been used since 1971.
