In 1921 a first pipe organ was placed in the Johannes Baptist Church in Greffen by Anton Feith. It was an instrument with seventeen stops, pneumatic action and cone chests. Over time, it went into bad shape. In 1986 it was decided to have a new organ built by the Breil company. Ekkehard Stier was the consultant for the work. The new organ was dedicated on February 1, 1987.
