In 1834 Theodoor Smet built an organ for the Beguinage Church in Herentals. The instrument was modified by Jean Corneille Charles Delhaye in 1858 and expanded by Petrus Stevens in 1892. The positive is missing the Basson-Hautbois, as well as another unknown register, which stood on a slide between the Dolce 4' and the Flageolet 2'.
The organ is in urgent need of restoration. This was planned for 2012, but it is not known whether the restoration was carried out.
